Grey jumper - should I buy something cheap or go for quality?

I feel the cold so pretty much live in jumpers in winter. I have a few but have realised I always come back to the plain ones that go with everything. I want to buy a grey jumper to replace a really old one.

have been looking at the following items completely different price brackets:

I have not bought from these brands before so have no idea about fit or quality. I am short and skinny.

What would you be wearing it for? I like the look of the first !?and would wear it to work but prob expect it to be static prone. I work with young children. I definitely wouldn't spend £225 but that's because I'm prone to spilling things or cleaning without gloves etc.

I would get a "brand new with tags" one on eBay and then you can get the best quality without a crazy price tag. Have a look at J Crew Cashmere, Cove Cashmere, Chinti and Parker, Jumper 1234 and Wyse on eBay. Jumper 1234 are great as they can be machine washed but all these brands are much better quality / more stylish than anything on the high street / woolovers / nobody's child etc.

M&S cashmere, it lasts yeas if washed gently.
