brought a padded coat from m& s in November when they had 15% off coats, the end of the sleeve which is knitted fabric has bobbed badly i only wear it around once a week, should I return it, I have one from H&M which I wear three times a week its warmer and the sleeves on that hasn't bobbed at all its around three years old.

2 months isn't bad going tbh, I bought a cheap coatigan from M&S and I noticed within a week that it was bobbling. I think you get what you pay for unfortunately. I just shave them off with a debobbler.

Its just I expected a coat from m&s to last longer then a coat from h&m it did cost around £69, the one from h&m was around £35

Two months is really poor quality. I'd definitely try to get a refund or credit note.

Thats what I what thinking, I'm going to take it back tomorrow,

What's the fabric content of the knitted parts? If it's anything other than cotton or pure wool it's potentially going to bobble. Anything synthetic will bobble at some point.

Update on coat return, took it back today, they refunded me straight away , the assistant just said it shouldn't of gone like that in only 6 weeks of wear.
To answer Blue Heelers, it was a knitted fabric at the cuffs, but as I said I have one from H&M with the same style cuffs that I've had for at least 3 years and thats not gone bobble at all.
