I am trying to cut some of the money I spend on beauty and think I'm going to switch to dying my roots myself, at home.
Does anyone buy professional salon hair dye from Sally's or similar? I've heard it's much better than box dye, and not much more expensive. But have no idea what shade I'd be or where I'd begin.
At the moment my hair is a mid/dark brown. When I buy box dye I blend a 5.0 and 6.0 (lightest brown) because box dye is always so much darker than advertised! But it's not great and I can foresee my hair looking crapper and crapper if I don't find something better soon 😂
Does anyone do this or have any advice on how I'd figure out how to colour match? Thanks in advance for any help!
