Help me find a dress for a wedding

Im 35, don’t follow fashion at all just buy what I like. I’m looking for a dress for a wedding I have in 3 weeks 😬 I am a size 14-16, weight around my stomach.

I swear I have looked in every shop and every single website and just can’t find anything I want. I have a few whittled now as just in case’s I can order.

So I want something that’s loose around the stomach area, ideally long sleeve because of the weather but short sleeves (not too short) is ok. Also midi length or longer. Not fussed on colours/patterns but right now I’ll be wearing a bin liner if I don’t find anything.

also it has to look good sitting down as it does when I stand up. Hate when this happens and it goes all tight and clingy at the belly. (Although I hope the pull in suit will help with this)

Any suggestions on where to look ladies please? X

I’m only 5ft. Boobs are 36b so nothing special happening there. I have blonde hair, fairly pale complexion.

the venue is a big Manor House ceremony and reception both there.

Im not looking to spend a fortune as I will probably only wear it the once. I’m dieting and have lost quite a bit so far already. But will jazz anything up with accessories if it is plain.

Definitely don’t want a bombshell dress at all, just something that I feel comfortable in and not self conscious at all in. X

Pretty kitty have some flattering dresses, the material is heavy and hangs very well with a decent amount of stretch.

I've lost 3.5 stone since I wore this, I paid £59. I've not put it on eBay yet but I do need to, the other one I sold I got £37 back for so it worked out to be a very good deal!

These are a couple I have saved on my phone but nothing that I really like. They are From new look and silk Fred I think.

The reason I chose this is because the bolero draws to The eye up away from the tummy, and the pattern on the dress is mainlyon the hem drawing you eyes from the tummy. You don't need to always think about your stomach if you get the right necklace and bottom

You need an a-line I think that comes in under the bust then is roomy over the stomach. I went to a personal shopper at John Lewis and got a dress for £65.

Have a look at Jolie Moi. Have lots of different patterns and they are very flattering. Even better most have pockets.
