What style jeans are in fashion now?

I’m still wearing skinny and mom style but I’ve noticed quite a few flares and wide leg styles in the shops.

People my age (late 30s) seem to be wearing straight leg jeans. Not mom jeans. Whether that's fashionable or not I couldn't tell you.

I have a straight leg (narrow) pair and shorter cigarette jeans (never worn) for summer.

Go with what ever suits your body shape, and what makes you feel good. Don’t be a slave to fashion.

Skinny jeans are still popular among people over the age of about 25, despite what they say. And they seem to be the most common jeans in the shops.

Why is it that the 'fashion' is whatever the youngest generation are wearing? Do people want to look like a middle aged person trying to dress like a teenager?

the best jeans that suit me are bootlegs, I don’t really care if they’re not the popular ones, but I feel comfortable & they suit my body the best.

Whatever looks good on you. Personally I am loving the Harper cigarette jeans from m and s. I roll them up and wear with dms and blazes at the moment. I'm not going back to the flares and bootlegs of the late 90s and 00s with all the wet trouser dragging going on.

My kids are bag in parachute pants, none of them seem to wear jeans at the moment.

I’m seeing a lot of skinny jeans with frayed hems.

My kids are into flares, Ive tried to order more grown up, bootleg versions of them and they look terrible on me!

Still in skinny jeans in the winter as can't work out how to do boots with other styles but do straight/mom styles in the summer with shoes.

Me too! I am pear shaped and bootleg suit me best.

I agree in wearing what suits you, I have never worn skinny jeans, leggings or jeggings as I personally would look ridiculous.

I have slim flares from M&S (I'm 35) and I'm so glad skinnies aren't the norm anymore. I'm 5ft 2 and an hour glass. The flare seems to make my body more balanced and curvy in the right way. Mom jeans do NOTHING For my figure. Seeing people wearing them. I don't think they're flattering in anyone. Just less awful on people with tiny waists.

Skinny jeans are awful.

The problem with wide leg jeans/flares is that it is a trip hazard. I saw a woman almost trip running for the train as one foot slipped into the opposite leg of her jeans. They need to be a shorter length to prevent you from damaging yourself falling over.

It doesn't seem to matter as long as they come up to your neck and almost strangle you. Wearing a top has become superfluous.

According to todays Grazia skinnies are back. I’m in longer slouchier jeans ( hush and Levi’s for example) but not low rise at all. I like flare and bootcut but am very short and they don’t work so well. Day to day I wear my agolde 90s loose crop . I honestly think you can pick anything you feel suits you
