It's me the unstylish one again 😂

I've got a nice soft feel black blazer I was thinking of wearing with jeans and what kind of top? Or black wide leg trousers? Would that make me look like I was at work 😂

Restaurant is not too fancy. Last time I wore jumpsuit but was freezing so want to wear socks and boots!!!

Long sleeved dress with tights and boots. I went out for afternoon tea at the weekend and wore this:

Though this is not a recommndation for Finery London as their customer service was appalling! Just showing a dress that can work with boots in winter and trainers in spring.

Something like this? Can dress up or down, trainers/boots/heels depending on where you're going

@PumpkinSpicedTea

this time of year.

jacket fitted, blouse or top, posh skinny jeans and ankle boots!

gogohmm · 07/02/2023 15:07

My go to for pretty much any occasion bar black tie is a jersey/knitted dress, tights and boots through winter then knitted/cotton dress with sandals or converse through summer

PumpkinSpicedTea · 09/02/2023 14:08

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

@Justellingthetruth I think this is more like what I'll go for!

I'm trying different tops with a black soft blazer and just can't decide if it's right.

I feel like I'll l go back to my safety go to outfit now 😂

ALWAYS jeans, bodysuit and a blazer.

Depending on weather the body could be long sleeved or racer back or short sleeved. Always a nice belt.

Footwear then can be anything from sandals to trainers to boots to high heels

Absolute failsafe.

PumpkinSpicedTea · 09/02/2023 16:13

@whiteonesugar is plain top/bodysuit better than a pattern?

@PumpkinSpicedTea yes I would say so! You can always accessorise with jewellery etc

maddy68 · 09/02/2023 16:21

Jeans and jacket is always a winner

@sunnycats lovely dress, can I ask what shoes you wear with it?

Sunnycats · 10/02/2023 07:37

@SpringyChicken so far I have worn some cream coloured boots, and black ankle boots. Those have been with black tights. I do have black knee boots too but haven't gotten around to them yet! I think it's quite a versatile dress so will work with lots of footwear.
