Can anyone give me ideas on what to wear for bottomless brunch at turtle bay on Saturday
I know it's still winter but I do want to look nice -so no big coats or anything

Just remember, bottomless refers to the menu, not the dress code! Have a great time!

StrawberryAnnie · 06/02/2023 19:14

You can still dress well and take your coat off once inside.

I wouldn’t be out without a coat in February. Shivering isn’t a good look on me 😆

Really wanted to say no trousers or skirt but I see I've been beaten to it!

YoBeaches · 06/02/2023 19:29

Turtle bay is pretty casual so I'd still be on for jeans top boots and coat or jumper dress boots and coat.

mahrezzy · 06/02/2023 19:30

Donald Duck costume?

Wear whatever feels good.

thenightsky · 06/02/2023 19:32

Something washable. Things could get messy. Grin

Eastereggsboxedupready · 06/02/2023 19:58

Elasticated trousers...

NeverDropYourMooncup · 06/02/2023 20:03

At Turtle Bay?

Stretchy jeggings, T shirt and cardigan/hoodie in a dark colour. It's not exactly the Ritz and you'll need room.

GrainOfSalt · 06/02/2023 20:05

Another vote for stretchy trousers here :)

milkysmum · 06/02/2023 20:06

Jeans and a top is fine. It's February - I'd definitely be wearing a big coat still.

FelicityFlops · 06/02/2023 20:47

Being flippant, but bottomless trousers or knickers?
Otherwise, depending on where you are going, reasonably smart, casual clothing, preferably not jeans?

5128gap · 06/02/2023 21:28

Depends on your age, location and your friends. Anything from night out style glam (for a lot of people its an early start to what will end up being a night on the town) to very casual. I'd ask what the others in your group are wearing.

Lookingoutside · 06/02/2023 23:41

Crop top and no pants. Just like Pooh Bear😁

thedevilinablackdress · 07/02/2023 07:42

Is it an outdoor venue? Then definitely wear a coat. If it's indoor, still wear a coat, it's February and you'll take it off when you arrive.
Otherwise, what are your options, what sort of things do you have in your wardrobe?

Early 30s and it's in Manchester where we are going.
I was thinking a cropped blazer with jeans and small heel and maybe put a nice dressy coat over the top for walking back to hotel.

For anyone that doesn’t realise, the “bottomless” refers to the drink, not the food. No elasticated waists needed! You usually only get one quite small plate of food.

OP I think you’ll be fine with jeans and any “nice top” (top/jumper/cardigan) - cropped blazer sounds good. Have fun 😊

You'll look lovely in that.

Some posters will say you'll be overdressed, but if there's a group of you going I personally don't think it matters if you're overdressed compared to other customers, as long as you are dressed at a similar level to the other group members.

Have you asked anyone else who is going what they are planning to wear?

StarlightLady · 07/02/2023 11:37

As it's a bottomless occasion, a thong 😂😂😂. For avoidance of any doubt this response is lighthearted. 😁

I was about to say a pretty Summer dress but then realised it’s not Summer where you are!

BellatrixLestrangesHeatedCurlers · 07/02/2023 12:15

The outfit sounds lovely but you'll look overdressed for Turtle Bay. It's more relaxed.

Sounds great 👍 I’d opt for flats though as it’s brunch and Turtle Bay.
Enjoy.

I'm going with my partner so no doubt he will be in jeans and a tee with a jacket so he's not much help with my outfit choice ha ha

I think this is the outfit I'm going to wear
But swap them hoodie for a white bodysuit or white tee
What do we think ?
Okay ?

What to wear for bottomless brunch?

Yep, looks perfect. White tee and definitely keep the flats! 😊 you look lovely x

5128gap · 07/02/2023 12:52

White body suit or cropped thin white jumper and you'll be perfect.

The ones I've been to have always been both.
