I want a nightie but I'm looking for something very specific and I can't find it anywhere.

I have three key requirements and none of these can be compromised. It seems like a very obvious thing to want, so why can't I find it?

  1. Slip style: string straps, fitted(ish), thigh length. Like this.
  1. Stretchy. I want it in tshirt material and I want the straps to be elasticated too.
  1. No Winnie the Pooh. No Disney. No cats. No kittens. No Snoopy. I am a grown woman, not a 5-year-old little girl.

Anyone?

I got one like that in Asda for £3. It is black jersey with a lace trim and adjustable straps.

BroccoliSpears · 07/02/2008 15:46

Adjustable straps or stretchy elasticated straps?

I got one in Gap just before Christmas. It's lovely and I wish I'd bought another one now. Haven't been to Gap for a while so I don't know what they've got in at the mo.

doggiesayswoof · 07/02/2008 15:50

No time to do a search just now, sorry, but I used to have one like that which was Calvin Klein - stretchy jersey, with stretchy little straps that were also adjustable.

Much more than £3 though!
Try figleaves?

Question for anyone who has bought from Carma London: How do the sizes come up? I'm between sizes, should I go up or down?

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 07/02/2008 21:09

they run true-ish to size, but some fo the tops eg this come up v short in the body.
all the 10 trousers fit my 10-12 bottom/thighs though

BroccoliSpears · 07/02/2008 21:26

Well I've gone up on the basis that I'm preggers and not planning on renewing gym membership in the very near future...

Can always exchange if too big.

Thanks for the recommendation.
