What to wear…birthday brunch in London?

Have my DP’s friends birthday brunch in London coming up soon with DJ/dancers etc. I’m struggling with knowing what to wear. I don’t go out to these sort of things much these days so need help.

Ideas please 😊

Where do you like to shop? What colours and styles do you like?

I shop in Zara, H&M, Mango & M&S occasionally will find the odd thing on asos.
I don’t think I want a dress maybe some trousers & a blouse. I’m only 5ft 2 though so trousers can be tricky for me 😏

How about a jumpsuit?

What sort of restaurant is it? I've been to a couple of brunches in London recently - one was in a lovely restaurant in the City and I dressed p a bit. The other was in a neighbourhood pub which was lots of fun but didn't warrant anything special or new.

I’ve got a pale green satin bias cut skirt that I wear with a chunky jumper and Chelsea boots. I feel it’s a good lunch look.

Brunch with DJ and dancers sounds rather unusual. Not sure what I’d wear to that.

Its at Coya in Mayfair. So to me that warrants dressing up a bit? But I don’t want to go under or over dressed 😏
