How should I get my hair cut?

I'm going for a haircut later, for the first time in about 18 months and I just don't know what to get done.

I'm 30, mum of 2 young kids and usually just have it pulled back in a bobble at the moment.
My hair is pretty thin and quite flat, and I struggle to get it to hold a curl etc. Ideally I want something that will look good without too much effort for busy mornings, but that also looks nice if I go out.
I've had a fringe before, but it always seems to separate at my parting and I end up growing it out.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My hair is like yours, never holds a curl, fine, but lots of it. I’ve nicked his photo off Pinterest, but this is the style I’ve had for years.

Why don’t you ask the hairdresser for ideas?

Get a proper consultation from a decent hairdresser

You'd suit a side fringe 👍🏻

@Rachiie I'm in a similar dilemma with exactly the same sort of hair as you. OP. What did you decide to do in the end?
