Gucci by Gucci discontinued, would I be able to have it copied?

The title probably doesn't make sense, I love Gucci by Gucci and cannot get it anymore. Does anyone know if I can have a similar perfume made up if someone has the top middle and bottom notes? I don't really know anything about getting a perfume made so I'm hoping my question is sensible 🙏

This is why I won't even try any Gucci perfumes. My late brother bought me a bottle of Gucci II that I loved and when he died, I decided to get another bottle, only to find that it had been discontinued.

I know that's completely illogical because they all withdraw perfumes, but there was so much additional emotional baggage in that particular one, they're never getting my trade (not that it would make the slightest difference to them, but you know, emotions and all that).

She not going over for another year....there is a limit on perfume purchases in those duty free shops....maybe you could try some shops in places that dont have much foot fall...

@NeverDropYourMooncup sorry to read about your brother. I know what you mean about associating perfume with memories. I only ever put Gucci by Gucci on for special occasions, and when dh and I were doing something ourselves like a weekend away etc. I do feel a sense of sadness and loss that it's been discontinued.

@ILoveYouMoreTheEnd I've reached out to Gucci tonight and asked them if it's discontinued and if so do they have any extra stock. I've given them 48 hours to respond before I action the protest

also my dh has kindly looked on the tinternet for us and they are selling empty bottles for £30 and bottles with a few drops in for over £100.

I was kidding, but I will start asking friends to look out for it when they are on holiday this year x

If I was lucky enough to return to Cairo i would look out for it...!!...some of the shops friend checked out, knew the perfume i liked was fetching loads on ebay so had jacked up the price, but not all knew !

God I loved Envy! My older sister used
to wear it. I thought she was so cool and grown up and I used to pinch it and it just takes me back to those teenage/childhood memories of us sharing a room and me being slightly in awe of her watching her get ready, making her hair dead straight with GHDs 😂.

My discontinued love is Armani White (I think that’s what it was called). I got it on holiday as a teen and the smell of it was like oranges and summer. Why do they have to discontinue perfumes! It is so frustrating.

Give eBay a whirl. I buy a long-discontinued perfume from there. Some people know what they’re selling and put it on for hundreds - once in a blue moon someone will either not know what they’re selling (house clearance??) or describe it wrong and you swoop in. Eg I’ve grabbed a bottle which was advertised with the “tagline” rather than the perfume name itself.

I’ve never bought a fake from there. Wondering now if I should put my sad, lidless bottle of Gucci on there because now I know there are lovers of it.

For a good Gucci Envy replacement try Flower shop 42 by Jo Loves, not quite the same but very nearly.
