...which Jo Malone is the one for me?.
I've narrowed it down to;
verbenas of provence,
lime basil and mandarin (cos it's "classic" and everyone says I should),
pomegranate noir (don't usually like fruity but somehow appeals from the blurb),
french lime blossom,
vintage gardenia.

I'm very fond of LEau D'Issey and I would say that's the kind of thing I go for, light, clean, floral, not keen on overtly fruity. Like spicy but not woody.
Can't afford a whole bunch of minis, so please vote and help me.

I rang them a couple of days ago as I can't get into a shop to buy and didn't have a clue which one to get. Person I spoke to was very helpful and really kindly sent me a little sample bottle of Lime, Basil & Mandarin (have tried this on a moment ago, like it a lot so far and also one of the Pomegranate noir. I got a scent stick of the Nutmeg and Ginger as she had run out of sample bottles. I would give them a call and see if they can send you something.

from your description I'd say french lime blossom...its fresh, light and floral. I also really like orange blossom. Pomegranante noir is a bit more of an evening scent iyswim! But whenever I wear it dp says it smells like ping pong balls ....maybe not the desired effect!

I like lime, basil and mandarin but its very strong, maybe a bit unisex iykwim!!!

Oooh, thanks.
Which one smells like ping pong balls mamado, the pomegranate noir?

yes, the pomegranate noir...btw I like it, but maybe its more important how it smells to others! I think it probably mixes well with another scent.

Oh, and I'm tempted by the verbenas too...as you can see i have a bit of a Jo malone habit thanks to my mum!!!!

btw, I've given both red roses and tuberose to my mum and they are both lovely, floral scents...the tuberose is a bit more sexy and the red roses a bit more classic iyswim!

Think I'm going for french lime blossom, (birthday coming up, dp asking for hints), but I hope it's not too sweet.
Btw, I do realise this is all a bit pointless, smell is such an individual thing, but I really do appreciate your help all the same
