Wondering if anyone has tried one of the devices for microneedling at home and if you'd recommend the device. What sort of results did you see?

Following with interest. I bought one - just a roller thing- but so far been too chicken to try.

Yes! A micro needling roller. Helps absorption of my skincare, you've got to me super gentle with your pressure, don't go near your eyes and disinfect it properly 😊 there's some good YouTube tutorials!

Sounds promising! Can I ask what device you use?

@ChocolateyBiccy mine is from face gym! It has all sorts of attachments depending on what you're doing with it. They're good at doing demos if you have one by you 😊

Thanks. That's actually the one I've been eyeing up online. What sort of results have you seen? I'm hoping it will help fine lines and pigmentation.

I really want to but dermatologists now say don't use the roller ones and that they're not used professionally anymore. They cause micro-dragging on the face which is micro-harmful.
But I know I don't have the patience to use the pen ones!

meetmeatmidnights · 30/01/2023 12:21

@ChocolateyBiccy definitely in fine lines on my forehead and in pigmentation (old scarring on my chin from hormonal spots)!

I didn't know they now recommended pens instead 😩 so hard to keep up! I'll have a look at the pens and see what I can find out.

LesLavandes · 30/01/2023 18:13

I thought the pens were only to be used by professionals?

007DoubleOSeven · 30/01/2023 18:15

You can get pens for use at home now
