And I hate everything left. I have 27 coats, 18 long cardigans, 22 jumpers among others. That doesn't count the 7 bin bags I have for dumping or charity shop. Such a waste of money. Its all cheap throwaway items with no thought or care put into anything. I really need to change but don't know how. Any advice?

In all honesty what stopped me buying crap was realising that the problem isn’t my clothes. I was buying and buying because I wasn’t happy with how I looked in what I already owned. What worked for me was actually dressing in nothing other then leggings and T-shirts and getting really fit again so I was happier with myself. No magic easy answer so sorry about that but genuinely you have to look at why you are buying so much. You obviously aren’t buying pieces because you love them so must be something else! Good luck to you Xxxxx

This is it exactly! That's what I need to figure out, I need to find my style again.

I really relate to this thread especially hating everything left. I have made some progress gradually replacing with step up items. Buying a really lovely everyday handbag then feeling great about ditching a load of crap bags. Ditto jeans and then coats. I've just sold a load of joules coats on Vinted that one made me look like a yellow marshmallow.

I need to quit going in primark ever. I had a tendency to think oh I hate my clothes if I just find a couple of better work tops I will feel better. Usually I don't.

Op of the shops are crap where you are starting looking on Vinted god I love it! Dd2 and I are obsessed! Think a high end dress is out of your price range? But is it a tenner on Vinted?? God it's amazing. The aim is to never buy any landfill crap again and no clothes I hate!

I've just sat down after having a sort out and have braved a few items that I've held onto. Things such a bobbly jumpers that I love but even after a debobble are still past their best.
Also a tie around jacket/ cardie thing that I've had 6+ years still with its tag , orginal cost was £100 but the label tells me I got it for £29.99 so I must have thought a bargain. Trouble is it's an awful beige/ cream coloured thing that I'd never wear and belted cardies make me look like a sack of spuds tied in the middle !
