Jeans for curvy short woman, I should give up shouldn't I?

I'm looking for jeans that'll fit (me) - short legs, curvy calves, big thighs and bum. Small waist, normal bmi, size 10/12 if that makes a difference.

I really want to create a capsule wardrobe and I'm so jealous of those that can wear jeans. All the ones I try on gape at the back.

Do I give up? What's my alternative?

Similar shape (short, out of proportion waist to hips/bum) and the only place I’ve ever found jeans (and actually most trainers) to fit is Boden (of all places!). I’m not a fan of most of their clothes but their basic trousers and jeans are great. I look for the ones where people complain that they’re far too baggy on the hips/thighs and know those are the ones for me…I buy the petite cut in the size for my waist (I’m a 12/14 so buy a 12P).

I am size 12 hourglass and very short, these are amazingly flattering. Stretchy thin denim. Pricey but I haven't found anything else that comes close...

I love Not Your Daughter’s Jeans. I buy on Ebay. I’m a middling hourglass (25 inch waist, 37 inch hips) and some of their styles are really comfortable and flattering.

What's a middling hour glass? I'm almost the same measurements as you and never heard of that. (Going to try those jeans too!)

I got an amazing pair of jeans from m&s years ago. Straight leg but right length and look good with a roll but super stretchy so fit on waist and hips....I'm starting to go through a knee so hoping they still exist!

Oh, just a not-very-dramatic hourglass - I meant I don’t have a wildly unusual hip to waist ratio.

I have a proportionally smaller waist compared to bum and thighs so always have that waist gap in regular jeans. Hollister curvy jeans and Abercrombie curve love range fit me well, they also have short and extra short leg length! Levi's 501 crop (women's not unisex) are also great with minimal gaping.

Most of it seems to be but for some reason the jeans just work. I have to get them taken up (or turn them up) but I have to do that with jeans from literally everywhere. Might just be my measurements and I’ve got lucky though…

I am 26 waist 37 hip, but only 5ft. So I have to take them up by about 6 inches! This probably removes the widest bootleg bit and so they look more straight with slight flare. I wear with either plimsolls in summer or slightly platform trainers in winter. They are great and very comfortable jeans!

M&S do a great range of jeans, and come in a 'short' length. I think the ones I have are called Eva

I'm a pretty extreme hourglass and I buy the jeans to fit my bum and then get them taken in at the waist.

I've had good luck with Paige and Frame jeans, but they are very spendy. I tend to stalk them in the sales.

Oh yes I do have a pair of levi 501s crop too. I just need to slim back into them as the material is less forgiving.

I also have some cheapies from peacocks which are OK. I do have too many jeans as I get excited if they fit!
