zoom interview - what to wear

Help! I have a zoom interview on Monday and no idea what to wear...
Not had a job interview for years, but if I did I'd wear nice dress, jacket, possibly a coordinating scarf, and heels. easy. Like me on a smart office day...
now after nearly three years of wfh and with the interview being on zoom Im just not quite sure what to wear?
Colourful top? plain top with scarf?
any help appreciated!

I have had a few Zoom interviews and just wear a plain Zara jumper with nice make up. Most of the interviewers are dressed super super casual!

I read it’s better to wear something colourful (but not overwhelming) so it stands out against your background and you’ll be more memorable. Good luck!

Wear whatever will make you feel professional, confident and capable.

Brighter colours tend to look better over zoom, so a brighter top, a nice necklace and hair and makeup that you feel good in.

No one will be able to see anything you wear below chest level.

For my last two Zoom interviews I wore a round neck blouse underneath a suit jacket and suit trousers so that I would feel smart. I would aim to look as smart as possible.
