Treatment recommendations for light acne scarring

Can anyone suggest a treatment to help the acne scarring on my forehead?

I wonder about microneedling but I've never tried anything like that so would really appreciate some guidance.

By way of background, I don't have any active acne (haven't had any for years) and am mid-40s.

I still do get some acn3 but also have scarring/hyperpigmentation and I’m hoping to buy a Dr Dennis Grosse LED mask once they come back in stock.

That's a great idea. I hadn't though of buying a device like this for home use. Although it's expensive I am sure you will save money in the long term. I wish something like that was available when I had acne!

Im the same age with the same
problem. Ive had a few rounds of the micro needling in the past and personally felt it didnt work at all for me which was disappointing as it wasnt cheap and some of the before and after photos are amazing so I was expecting big results.

Thanks that's really helpful to know although a bit disappointing as from a quick look online, microneedling seems to be one of the most popular treatments for acne scarring.

I do worry about splashing out lots of money with no results. Years ago I had an expensive course of microdermabrasion and it made no difference at all to the scarring. My friend also had an expensive course of treatment (can't remember what it was now) and it also made no difference.

I also had 2 TCA peels that had a few day’s downtime and immediately afterwards my skin looked better but about a month later it looked the same again to me.

The micro needling might work better on really deep scaring mines probably not that bad (although it is to me) so maybe other people get better results. The next thing Ive been looking at is obagi skincare but again very expensive and might not help. Its so hard when you dont have lovely skin.
