Help me find black wide legged trousers

So, I'd like to get some black wide legged trousers but I have a very specific idea in my head of what I want and haven't been able to find them.

I had a pair about 25 years ago (when I was a size 8) from Ted Baker and I loved them. They were kind of stiffer, IYKWIM. A lot of the ones I've found are either jersey material or quite light and floaty.

I will be wearing with flat boots or trainers. I'm a size 12. Budget less than £100.

The closest I've managed to find are these blue ones from Seasalt but they don't have them in black.

If the Seasalt ones are perfect in all but colour would you be brave enough to dye them? I dyed faded favourite black trousers back to black successfully using one of those Dylon sachets that go in the washing machine

Long shot. Are you in Kent. I have a pair of Principles petite. Size 12. 28” length 10” bottoms. Good weight crepe type material. Never worn. Can you private message me.

Wondered about this but worried I'd ruin an expensive pair of new trousers!

I have some Phase Eight trousers like that. And a pair of Me & Em ones too (which were £££ and bought pre kids when I had spare money... but they've really lasted!).
