Waterproof eye make-up remover for contact lens wearer?

Hi lovely S&B people

I just accidentally smashed my (glass) bottle of eye make-up remover and I got it from a small independent brand in the US so can't restock. So I need to find a new one. (So angry with myself for breaking the bottle).

Can you recommend a great waterproof eye make-up remover that is suitable for a contact lens wearer / sensitive eyes please? I don't want micellar water, I want a proper eye make-up remover for stubborn eye make-up that won't feel like I'm rubbing my eyelids really hard to get my waterproof mascara off (I usually wear Trish McEvoy or Hourglass) and some quite stubborn eyeliner.

Really appreciate your recommendations please!

Nivea Bi-Phase is good.

I've always found the Simple one to be excellent and I have ridiculously sensitive eyes

Lancôme Bi Facil is brilliant.

I like Clinique Take the Day Off eye makeup remover, Bobbi Brown eye makeup remover or Clarins Instant eye makeup remover (not Clarins Gentle eye makeup remover, it doesn’t work). All fine for my sensitive eyes.

I use coconut oil

I use one from Wilko, an own brand one, it is for sensitive skin and works well for my loreal waterproof mascara. I used to use the ones that you shake to combine but they gave my eyelids dermatitis even if they were labelled sensitive.

Nivea Bi-Phase is good.

Perfect! I just saw it on special offer in Sainsburys straight after I created this thread so bought a bottle as a temporary stop-gap while I wait (hopefully) for recommendations from everyone.

Clinique take the day off - I have ridiculously sensitive eyes and wear contacts and it works fine for me.

I use the Nivea Bi-Phase and I'm an eye make up loving contact lens wearer 😊

Thanks everyone. I'm trying the Nivea and if that doesn't work well for me, I'll get some Clinique Take The Day Off. Pretty sure I've used a freebie sample of the Clinique before and it worked well but I'd forgotten about it until now so thank you! Ah the challenges of peri-meno brain fog!😕

Another vote for simple - cheap and effective
