Hope someone can tell me the best direction to go! Any ideas on any packet colours would be great also please. I am a natural mousy/ medium brown. Any idea what packet colour I should use on my hair colour ? I am after the colour shown! Thank you

Id probably go to a salon for auburn. You don't want to get it wrong!

Thanks @walkinthewoodstoday it's just when I've been to the salon for auburn before the colour only lasts about a week on my hair

@HunkieDorie Sadly all dyes tend to fade, it’s just the way it is with red / copper pigments especially.

If you’re still looking for a box dye I would look for golden-copper tones. There’s slight variation how each company does mark the colours but for example .34 stands often for gold copper undertones. There’s some nice looking warm shades within Clairol too, think that WR is their auburn type of tone.

Red tones don't last very well. Used to have mine a gorgeous rich auburn... by weeek 3 it starts to fade and by 10 weeks it's a gingery washed out look. Can't afford the upkeep anymore so am option for a cjocolate brown
