Longer length maternity tops ...

My bump's getting so big that my tops are now getting too short and I'm in danger of showing off a couple of inches of flesh .

Does anyone know where I might get some longer length tops to cover the offending sight? Have some ruched IO tops which are ok so far, Next only seem to have dressy things or t-shirts (and it's waaay to cold for short sleeves ) and Seraphine didn't have new stock last time I looked. Am only 23 weeks so have quite a way to go but it's twins so expect i have even more expanding to do .

Thanks

what about something like this?

millie1 · 06/02/2008 11:22

H&M don't do on-line or mail order, do they? We don't have one within 100 miles - grrrr.

I do have a bump band but it's black and won't tone with 60% of my tops. Shall look at Mothercare's website now. Thanks!

Topshop have lots of nice things, some online too.

Thanks TDWP - hadn't thought of there. Have seen a couple of tops in Mothercare and maybe one in La Roudete (sp??). Shall look at topshop now!

topshop online do bump bands in black or white for £5 each.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 06/02/2008 14:20

There's a few things in the topshop sale too, online under 'last chance to buy'

What size are you btw? I have a few tops, H&M, Topshop and Isabella Oliver in size 10 and 12 , mainly summery but would work with a cardi over?
I could post them to you?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 06/02/2008 14:36

I don't want anything for them btw they have been in the drawers for ages, and I don't have any preg friends to pass them on to!

Congrats on your twins.

Standard jersey tops (maybe a size up) from Long Tall sally?
IO's bump bands are lovely (though pricey) and help with the muffin top thing

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. I've seen some nice things now and am on a mission (which my bank balance won't like .

TheDevilWears ... that's really kind of you. I couldn't take them for nothing though . I'm usually a 10 so imagine a 10-12 would fit. Are they fairly casual cos I'm really thinking of things to wear with jeans or cords during the day. Do I need to set something up for you to CAT me - or do you have that facility? LMK. And thanks again.

Try wearing trapeze/smock/swing whatever they're called dresses or tunics over trousers. Am wearing normal size at moment (17 weeks) of wool dress from Kew.

sorry rubbish at links

There are lots around at the moment and look a lot better than most maternity tops I have seen. Or long t-shirt with cropped jacket open over the top ?
