Longshot - do you own this dress??

So, I am trying desperately to get my hands on this teal velvet midi dress from Tu in an 18. It’s sold out online, there are none on eBay and there are none on Vinted. Did anyone buy one for Christmas or anything they no longer want and are thinking about selling on or charity shopping?!

You tried Depop or fb marketplace?

Have you tried changing up your search terms on ebay?
Green dress
Green midi dress
Green velvet dress
Turquoise dress
Turquoise midi dress
Velvet midi dress
Etc
Think about how you'd describe it if you were selling it and didn't know what Sainsbury's had called it online.
I've found loads of things that way like super rare Irregular Choice shoes listed as "black bunny shoes" where people just didn't know what they were selling.

Try an image search on eBay too. You never know

Have you already tried contacting Tu online or the customer service desk of your local Sainsbury'sTu store to ask whether they could search in store stock and get it delivered to your local store?

But I've often thought of asking similar questions. There's definitely stuff in my wardrobe that's not top of my charity shop/ sell on eBay list that I'd happily give away if I knew someone really wanted it.

Similarly I hang onto stuff that I'd get rid of if I could only find the same thing a size bigger or smaller.

Maybe try looking for a size down as it looks like you might be able to get away with it.

Whitestuff have a similar one although it doesn't have the high neck detail.

I bought this and returned it, I loved it online but it was uncomfortable and the sizing is off. I wouldn't size down as the upper body fit was on the smaller side (unless you've previously tried it on in-store).

I also bought and returned it last week. I'm a busty 16 and it did nothing for me across the chest. It's nice fabric though I thought - think they did it in pink as well ?

What's so special about it? Are you a pear shape?
