DD (34F) wears some kind of sticky things that seem to work well for her in backless tops.

Mumstheword2022 · 23/01/2023 08:02

@DeFacto

im a size 12 waist but curvy!

beginning to see this dress needs to go back actually!

You might get away with a halter neck type backless dress with a bra like the pp linked to but I would have thought that dress suits small breasts and no bra.

Snowybeach · 23/01/2023 08:05

So you’ve actually tried it on? What does it look like with no bra?

CornedBeef451 · 23/01/2023 08:08

Oh gosh, if I went bra less in that the whole top section would a be a jelly filled mono boob!

Keroppi · 23/01/2023 08:14

Boob tape for sure, you can get it from the pharmacist or boots I'm sure it's kinesiology tape

DeFacto · 23/01/2023 08:31

What's it for @Mumstheword2022 ?

LadyOfTheCanyon · 23/01/2023 05:11

No, that's not a dress for a 36G. Even if you've had a boob job and they're high and tight it'll be too booby. Plus a leg slash, that's a lot going on in what looks like quite thin material.

Yeah, that just won't be flattering to a large bust. Sorry.

Snugglemonkey · 23/01/2023 09:57

That dress will only look good in someone skinny with no boobs.

BoredOfThisMansWorld · 23/01/2023 12:03

I was going to suggest something like a lace bandeau or front fastening or bralette where the back is a wide band with no hooks. In a totally contrasting colour and match something else like bag or shoes to it. But I think this dress is already too busy to add a detail like that.

StarlightLady · 23/01/2023 13:12

I'm a 36F and have a backless body which, I think came from John Lewis. Label with brand name now cut off. Not available now, but I'm sure if you do some digging you will find something similar. Mine has a thong back though which might not suit everyone if you are not used to wearing the style.

If you can avoid going for a cup size and getting something which comes up in S,M or L to fit you will have a bigger choice.

A friend went for a backless swimsuit under something similar and that worked.

A wedding?

I'll be honest, they simply won't fit in that dress. I feel your pain as I'm also substantial in that department. I miss pepperberry and their curvy clothes!

Same here 😂
It's a lovely dress but I'm blessed as they say in the boob department and can't wear anything backless. Believe me I've tried. I've got funny flower shaped tit stickers and looked like an alien (wanted to cry, my dress looked awful). I haven't tried tit tape, I suppose if you want to make it happen you can (where there is a will there is a way).

I know there are some bras that wrap very low down the back but this dress is very low at the back. I get rather jealous of women that can wear these dresses!

Crumpledstilstkin · 23/01/2023 16:58

Doesn't Kim K use duct tape? Beauty is suffering and all that...

D20 · 23/01/2023 17:05

Following as I’m looking for similar. I tried the low back converters and it doesn’t bring the straps down quite far enough for my dress though.

SleekMamma · 23/01/2023 17:08

Kinesiology tape! Genius idea!

Mumstheword2022 · 24/01/2023 06:33

Hi everyone.

so, might buy tit tape anyway but I think I might look for another dress.

thanks for your comments! It’s just what I needed: honest!

have a good day x
