Fake tan on palms of hands

Pearlsister · 22/01/2023 11:43

I regularly use tan luxe drops on my face. However, last night I completely forgot to wash my hands after applying. I now have brown palms. It looks terrible.
I've tried glycolic acid and a body scrub to no avail.
Any suggestions as to how to look less ridiculous gratefully received.

Have a bath with some bath oil or baby oil in it. Then scrub hands with a flannel.
A bicarbonate paste is meant to help too.

Otherwise, just ride it out. The amount you wash hands means it will soon fade!

Thank you

Quite honestly, I'd just bleach them. It'll take seconds and then wash hands thoroughly and use lots of moisturiser.

Have you tried a tan erasing mitt?

Mrsbclinton · 22/01/2023 12:12

Bondi sands do a tan eraser which removes tan.

Ooh Jinx Mrs Clinton. Bondi Sands is the one I was referring to.

Lemon juice and salt, scrub, scrub, scrub 🙂

I use a pumice stone

Take it from a long suffering fake tan user who regularly gets orange palms: nothing works at this stage but time. You’ll just get sore hands trying to scrub it off.

It’ll only take a few days as you wash / use your hands so much but there’s honestly no point in trying anything just now
