Please help me style this midi leather skirt

I've bought this skirt and it really suits me, if I say so myself. However, I have no idea what top or shoes to wear it with. I don't like how it's styled in the photo.

I am a size 12, in case it matters. Any ideas?

I've got similar and it's been in my wardrobe never worn for two years as I also have no idea what to wear with it, especially on my feet.

Silk shirt maybe? And calf length boots.

I think channel Rachel in early Friends episodes- slim fitting jumper/polo neck or silk shirt and boots.

A big soft jumper tucked in at the front. The oversized look would go really well with that skirt.

I'd go for fine knit, relaxed or oversized jumpers tucked in and ankle length heeled boots, preferable pointed toe ones with tights.

I've got a nice shirt that might go... but I'm not sure about the shoes. Would the skirt work with trainers like Veja Campo or similar?

I think I’d either wear a fine knit jumper or thin cotton jersey top along the lines of these pictures, in black or cream.

I think it might be something you need to make yourself wear, and once you do you’ll wear it a lot more.

Oh and I think the pointed ankle boots in the first 2 links would work well.

I'd go slouchy jumper and clunky boots, probably.
