Work wardrobe- new job and weight loss

I'm about to have weight loss surgery, and then start a new job 3 weeks later. It's smart casual and I need to have a work wardrobe that'll be able to see me through some hopefully rapid weight loss. I'm looking for something that'll still look flattering as I shrink, and maybe to build a mini capsule wardrobe I'd replace in 6 months or so.

Any ideas of what's best to wear and where to get it?

How did it go? I just had weight loss surgery in March and started my new job three weeks later. I have bought quite a bit on Ebay. I just thought I’d say hello as we’re in a similar situation.

Ah hello! I'm now 10 weeks out and over 2 stone lighter! I went to Turkey for the surgery and it all went well, and first blood results came back OK - wouldn't describe it as fun, but I'm happy with the results so far. I've gone from a 22 to an 18 so far, but did manage a pair of 16 jeggings.

Luckily the company I work for is pretty casual, so I've been living in Leggings and loose oversize blouses, that I've been buying from vinted. I've just tried on some pairs of jeans though from 4 years ago and they actually fit! I've got a suitcase full of old size 14 clothes in the loft which I'll be over the moon to wear.

I did have a stall for 3 weeks at week 4 which was expected but disheartening at the time.

Hope you're recovering well!
