Hi,
I'm booked in to have my hair cut and coloured. It's currently quite long (around half way down my back) and I'm thinking if getting a long bob and I think I want some shaping around the face (possibly a fringe).
I have a square shaped face I think and would like to draw as much attention away from my face as possible.
Please can I ask opinions on these haircuts and if you think they would suit me?
Thanks

They might be harder to maintain than you realise other than that yes it's a decent style

It's hard to know if they'll suit you without knowing a bit more about how you look: I'm sorry that you clearly don't feel that great about yourself.

That haircut looks very nice, it's fairly classic and I like it best in that last photo of Jennifer Lawrence. Is your hair naturally straight? I wouldn't have a fringe unless you know it suits you and unless it will sit properly (I have a cow's lick, so fringes just do their own thing on me, I gave up on them long ago).

I think the cut's nice enough, my reservation would be that length on a square face shape - if the length hits at the widest point or angle of the face that is what it will draw attention to, rather than away from.

And as always with these thing, the round shaping of the cut in those photos isn't how it will sit without a blowdry or hot brush styling so will be sit fairly square in and of itself.

Obviously it's hard to say for certain without knowing what you actually look like OP but there's absolutely nothing wrong with a square face shape. Perhaps google hair styles for your face shape and see what you think of those. I think I'd go for something slightly longer, wear it in a loose wave and consider a side parting and plenty of layers if you are setting out to soften the shape of the face.

These are all the same style which is lovely- ask your hairdresser what they recommend as the best length for you.
