Leggings for non-skiing Alpine trip

Please can you make some suggestions. I have nothing other than city winter wear, and the trip is on the weekend. I had been unwell to plan in advance.

Would any thermal leggings work? Thank you so much 💓

Sweaty Betty have some nice thermal ones. You may be able to pick up some bargains on the sale.

Thank you. I will check. Is it good enough for mountains on its own or as a base layer? I am not doing any sports, just light hiking

.ACAI - I have their thermal fleece lined waterproof skinny trousers - they are so comfy and look good too. they do leggings as well but I liked the fact that they look less ‘leggings’

Mountain Warehouse do some really good fleece lined ones. For the Alps, I’d put another layer on top no matter what leggings you wear, though these ones are toasty.

Most outdoor retailers do fleece backed leggings. Decathlon, Trespass, mountain warehouse, uniqlo etc. Look for be water resistant and windproof. Wear over thermals.

Depends what activity you are doing even if not skiing. Thermals might not be enough in the mountain

Can you wear thermals and hiking trousers on the bottom and thermal+thick jumper+down jacket on top?

I ski quite a lot but I feel coldest on the days I don't ski.
