What’s happened to my poor skin?!

Last night I used Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Clay Mask ( which I’ve used many times before) as my skin was quite spotty. This morning I woke up to a weeping mass of spots on my forehead 😩
I’m assuming some kind of allergic reaction? What would be the best thing to calm it down without making it any worse? I’ve just cleansed with Cetaphil but it’s so sore.

Oh God that looks so sore! I'd get a doctors opinion. Could it be an infection?

N0tfinished oh god I hope not! Fortunately I have a fringe…..

Oh dear op that looks painful. I had an allergic reaction that looked similar a few years back, GP gave me steroid tablets, antibiotics and high strength anti histamines. Please get seen if you can, reactions like that can cause infections deep beneath the skin - within 48 hours of meds it started to calm down.

I'd use nothing on it at all except antihistamine cream and take antihistamines too. Looks allergic to me so best left alone.

I’d be tempted to put some sudacrem on at least a bit if it to see if it helps

It's a chemical burn from the salicylic acid. I had one on the inside of my toe a while back from a corn pad with it in. My podiatrist recommended savlon but I also needed Piriton as it was really itchy while it healed.
