Beauty drop ?
Yes and yes

theveg · 15/01/2023 16:43

I was looking at it, I like the sound of it

Zoetrope1 · 15/01/2023 17:20

If you’d like to see what was in the previous beauty drop boxes, here’s a link to Planning with Crystal’s unboxing videos

The freebies are ok, not earth shattering but they are totally free. I then get to spend my credit on nice things too (not just beauty) and you get free p&p. It’s a decent enough scheme of you can afford it.

Metabigot · 15/01/2023 17:59

I'm using it as a sort of Christmas savings scheme to get the advent calendar. A few beauty boxes along the way are very welcome!

TabithaTittlemouse · 15/01/2023 18:01

There’s a long beauty drop thread on here. Lots of useful information.

TheChosenTwo · 15/01/2023 18:06

I like it and think it’s worth it. I gave up all the other subscription type boxes years ago because they came monthly and contained mostly junk. Very rarely had anything in them that I was interested in using so mostly it got passed on to friends.
I’ve had more success with the beauty drop and it’s led me to making purchases of things I now consider staples that I never would have discovered as I didn’t shop at liberty before really other than a couple of advent calendars.
The fact that the money is fully redeemable makes it worth it though because you haven’t really paid for the products (obviously they now get my custom which they didn’t have before so it works both ways, I think it’s a good business model!) and it’s a nice little treat every few months. Actually, does anyone know when the next one’s due?

TabithaTittlemouse · 17/01/2023 11:30

@TheChosenTwo mine arrived today

TheChosenTwo · 17/01/2023 11:40

Mine’s coming tomorrow! I’ve just seen the contents, it doesn’t look massively exciting to me, a few things I’ve tried before and other sachets but I often say this and then end up falling in love with something. It’s still a nice little bonus treat. Are you happy with it?

Mercurial123 · 17/01/2023 14:02

It's impossible to please everyone. I've been really happy with the products and those I don't love I give to friends.

Myjobisanightmare · 17/01/2023 14:21

What in Januarys ?

TrodOnLegoAgain · 17/01/2023 16:30

The boxes are ok- fun to open but I don't use everything. It's only worth doing if you're going to spend £240pa on Liberty beauty anyway (which lots of people do).

Myjobisanightmare · 17/01/2023 17:07

Car air freshener 😂 I’ve cancelled I’ve got £40 credit which I’m sure will be handy at some point

Metabigot · 17/01/2023 17:13

I'm tempted to cancel as I have £80 banked and seen a lovely suffragette colours necklace for £130 so would only be £50. Not at all impressed with this time's box

OnceAgainWithFeeling · 17/01/2023 17:14

Also tempted to cancel after today’s box.

DaVariance · 17/01/2023 22:12

I like todays box I'll happy use everything in it

FredaFox · 17/01/2023 22:33

Hate the musk perfume but the rest is ok, considering it's free I can't complain
Im happy to carry in, saving for this years advent calendar/ Christmas gifts and for now can afford £20 a month without noticing it's gone

Myjobisanightmare · 18/01/2023 07:25

those Perfumes are rubbish musk gold it reminds me of granddads shaving soap smell from 40+ years ago which is a lovely memory but don’t want to smell like that

ImAbigDill · 18/01/2023 20:53

@CeeceeBloomingdale how do you spend the credit buying things other than beauty? In store or online? A couple months ago I emailed liberty customer service to ask if I can use it at Maria tash,( for the piercing service not jewellery). They said I can only use the credit for beauty products.

I've just used it online as I'm not near London. I've bought jewellery, a hamper and bag off the top of my head.

Mercurial123 · 20/01/2023 02:57

I just bought a House of Hackney cushion as I was leaving my credit to build up. I was pleased with this month's box.

Therearemorequestionsthananswers · 20/01/2023 04:08

That’s interesting, that you can spend it on anything. It says in several places on the Liberty website that it’s to spend on Beauty. If I can spend it on fabric I’d be more tempted.

You just add your voucher number at checkout.
