Any ideas
I've tried so many now
really expensive ones and cheaper ones and no luck at all

used to use the boots pads in the little round pot
but they don’t sell them anymore

Have you tried temple spa? I have sensitive eyes and mine were good with that one x

I use coconut oil as my make up remover. Great for stubborn eye makeup

You can get makeup remover pads/flannels that don't need any other products, just water. The most popular is face halo but amazon do affordable flannel ones too. Might be better for sensitive eyes.

My eyelids suddenly became dry and sensitive lately and a number of friends recommended Body Shop Camomile Eye Makeup Remover which has been fine on them.

CatNamedEaster · 14/01/2023 06:20

I second the Body Shop camomile eye make up remover. I'm always scratching my eyes during the day due to cat/pollen/tiredness, but i find this really soothing.
I soak a pad, hold it on the eye for 10 seconds then wipe gently and everything comes away. No need for any harsh wiping and it never aggravates my eyes.

The Nivea sensitive eye make up remover that is blue is good (NOT the two coloured one). I have the same issue. I tried a sensitive micellar water and my eyes were so sore.

I third the Body Shop Sensitive Camomile one.

Thank you all so much for the recommendations

body shop chamomile in the tin for me- the lotion irritates me but the balm is great.

WobblyLondoner · 15/01/2023 10:51

I've used Body Shop chamomile eye make up remover for over a decade so 100% agree with all these posts - BUT last time I went in it wasn't available. Has anyone bought it recently?? I miss it so much - I have tried Simple and LRP but don't get on with them as well.

I reacted to the Body Shop Camomile eye make up remover. Sad

I've tried so many. My eyelids swell and are red for days. It's not the eye make up.
The second I put remover on they go red and swell.

I find Avene Gentle eye make up remover is good.
As is a Clinique extra gentle one.

Blephasol micelle lotion is brilliant. Specifically for dry eyes / lids but gets rid of every spec of eye make-up. Recommended by dermatologist Natalia Spierings, check out her instagram.

@Movingout
Blephasol too I'm allergic to. Sad
