How do you have your hair when wfh?

I tie my hair up every day (with silk scrunchies!!) but think its causing breakage. My hair used to be so bouncy and voluminous but it’s crap now, all thin and broken.

Any ideas? Leaving it down just annoys me!

Do you like headbands? I find they take some getting use to but the wide fit ones are more comfortable. Next do some that I love!

Sometimes I think my hair is thin and damaged but then I get a decent trim and suddenly the life comes back !

Protective hairstyle, as it's called, like a plait or a bun. Though are you sure they're real mulberry silk scrunchies you're using? Those shouldn't cause breakage.

Alternatively you could secure a bun with hair sticks.

Mine drives me mad down too. A claw clip would be better for you probably. I don’t think tying your hair up with any kind of band does it many favours. Claw clips look better too.

I put in my normal parting, and then pull it into a low bun. It find that my hair is less tight on my head this way, so hopefully is thinning less. Also having a parting looks more flattering on camera

Thanks all!

I do usually wear it in a low bun with a parting, looks much better for video calls 😆 I look like an egg otherwise!

I got a big claw clip so I’ll use that and practice my braiding for night time.

I think maybe in part it’s down to getting older!

I Waco mom into a plait, low ponytail or I stick a headband in to keep it off my face
