Not good at outfits and style sense is challenged - please can some of you lovely Mumsnetters suggest some nice outfit options (don't mind buying something new) for a fancy afternoon tea at a posh hotel.
I'm somewhere between size 12 & 16/18 depending top/bottom, I'm curvy, about 5 foot 8.
I have bought a top from Next in the sale that may work (black, high neck a bit of a shimmer through the material but not that sparkly or OTT - can't find it now to link), but not sure what I would put it with - are smart jeans OK with nice boots, or would that not be quite smart enough? Other ideas completely different welcomed! Might be cold as up North and in countryside.
