Looking for some ideas on grey hair

I am in my late 50's with naturally grey hair - not as shiny or as silver/white as I would like.
Any ideas to make it better gratefully received.

Watching because my hair has suffered greatly with ill health , significant degree of hair loss , which I'm hoping will recover at least in part , and large % grey.
It can look like cotton wool , I have a wave and it sticks out in an unattractive fuzzy way .

I;m doing a combination of : (all things I have anyway)
Aveda Blue Malva Conditioner which doesn't leave a colour but makes it brighter . I've tried Bleach London shampoo/conditioner but it stained the shower curtain more than it did my hair
Phillip Kingsley Elasticiser
Glaze Gloss (I have the clear one but they have ones with colour )

I need to get some length off , planning to do soon but hopefully it won;t make it go poufly
I bought a Dyson hairdryer (never having been one for even owning one , I share with DD , she has long thick hair . It has a smoothing curved attachment which is kinder than straighteners .

I was thinking "Should I dye it again" but decided against it ,

Philip Kingsley silver shampoo and conditioner might be responsible for making my grey hair look more interestingly ‘steely’. Or maybe that’s just the colour it is LOL. Anyway it feels soft and looks good so I’ll keep using it.

Purple shampoo and conditioner- try Lee Stafford ice white blondes it will give your hair that shine

Hot oil once a week and or lee Stafford I've white blonde hair treatment

Try not to use any heat on your hair if you do have to wait until about 80% dry and use a hot brush like the babylyss

I've heard plantur 39 caffeine hair shampoo is good but haven't tried it

Use an oil only on the ends of the hair

If especially dry try a leave in conditioner once a week

Use a wide tooth comb to brush your hair

Towel dry hair gently with a microfibre towel

Sleep with hair in a satin hair wrap or on satin pillows

I have shyed away from purple shampoo....I have a white bathroom and have a worry that I will turn the tiles and grout purple. Can anyone reassure me.

I use Hask Biotin shampoo alternated with OGX purple shampoo. I get regular compliments about my hair colour. I keep my hair short as I swim.

If your hair yellows use purple shampoo and cut he heated devices. Some hair never yellows. Don't feel you have to do special stuff if yours doesn't.
Grey hair is often wiry in its structure. If this is yours then no amount of oils or potions will make it un-wiry. Irons can flatten it temporarily but once wet it will go wiry again. Once you have mostly greys it will look better. The contrast between the wiry greys and smooth pigmented hair makes the wiry-ness look worse.

Some really good ideas - I am going to start making a list. My hair isn't wiry as such. I have a good cut - keeping it reasonably short - it just looks and feels a bit dull.

Depends. Some grey hair is so beautiful, some people aren't blessed, and their grey can be not quite as glam. What about asking hairdresser to add a couple of white streaks, highlights to glam it up, as it grows / finds it final stage?
