Lanolin / lansinoh as lipbalm is amazing

Just had to report back on this. Have read this tip quite a few times and was never sure, would pay loads of upmarket lip balms etc. Finally tried lanolin yesterday. Wow. After 2 uses my lips are like new. Thanks for all the recommendations!

I've never found a lip balm anywhere near as good as Lanolips, and I've tried a lot of spendy ones (as part of advent calendars etc). It's not cheap, but it's so effective. Great on paper cuts and small abrasions as well.

I did use a tube up, but it nothing for me, I won't be buying it again.

Though be really careful putting something high density on your feet then you get in the shower the next morning .

Liz Earle SuperBalm. Don;t like the smell (too lavender-ey for me ) so used on my feet . Also used up some SteamCream on my feet for same reason. (Rather than waste them)

Got into hot shower the morning after the SuperBalm+Socks overnight .
Slipped the length of the bath on my arse

I love the idea of using up my other lipbalms on my feet actually. I have loads that I won't go back to now, same texture as lanolin but nowhere near as good. Glad to find a way to use them up!

It was a learning experience , only done once

SteamCream is much lighter and absorbs (but more lavender scented ) but I bought it for the pretty tin and it was 75% off .
Kept the tin
