Could tret have worked in just two and a bit months?

I started tret in November, expecting I would have to wait until the spring at least before seeing results. I started by applying it once a week, then after five weeks, I moved up to two or even three times a week. I never had any reaction to it. However I think my skin is looking brighter already. Is that possible or is that in my mind???

Yes

It's definitely possible. I had the 'tret glow' within a couple of months.

It's amazing stuff isn't it?

Yes. I found it was subtle. My skin just looked better. I'd see myself in a mirror and think oh, your skin looks nice today!

What is tret?

harrysbeard · 09/01/2023 18:02

I used tret reliably for 6 months (skin and me at increasing doses) and noted not one jot of a difference.
When people say they "see a difference" what do you mean?
I am very fortunate to have very clear skin so is it blemishes, acne, lines that seem improved to those that have noted an improvement?

I'm hoping for this glow too

So far I've had spots , itchy irritated skin and make up sits on me like a dried up prune

Yes I think it’s possible. A skin cycle is six weeks. For me I’d say it was a lot longer but we’re all different.

In terms of the difference @harrysbeard , I was looking at some before and after selfies of myself. Although I’ve aged (and lost some weight) over the three years I’ve been using it, so my face is more saggy, structurally, the actual skin has gone from dull, like I was permanently wearing dusty face powder (even though I have oily skin and already had a skincare regime), and freckly (I quite liked my freckles but they are sun damage and I had some larger brown marks), and just more fresh and smooth and light reflective. I still get spots and it helps heal those and scarring quicker too. I think it’s probably also slowed my wrinkles but can’t be sure and that’s not really why I started it.
