When will it be ok to sleep on lobe piercings?

I've just had my lobes pierced again after taking the previous ones out about 6 years ago as the holes were in weird places since it was done when I was 5yo. I've barely slept a wink the last two nights (had them done on Thursday) because I'm a side/belly sleeper and I've been trying to sleep on my back. How bad would it be to just sleep on the piercings? They do feel a bit tender and look a bit swollen/bruised today but nothing bad. I just want a decent sleep tonight! Thanks.

From day one should be fine.

Get a travel pillow, put it flat, sleep on your side with your ear in the 'doughnut hole' (so to speak)

I got a third lobe piercing about a week ago and both have settled down now, they were a bit sore the first few days.

What are you using to clean them? You should be fine in a day or so, but keep an eye on them because swollen/bruised sounds potentially a bit of a reaction, you don’t want them to get infected.

Get a monopillow they've been a godsend with all my piercings

I had 3 lobe piercings done together last year and it took about 2 weeks before I was fully comfortable sleeping on that side, but that's because multiple piercings take a bit longer to heal

@Changingplace

Not very bruised, just a little at the side. Wasn't sure if it was just the purple dye that was used to mark where to pierce but doesn't seem to have it on the other side. Does it look ok do you think? The back is fine, just a bit of dried blood.

Monopillow looks great! I tried with a rolled up towel last night but was too hard and made my jaw ache.

Oh, just using Neilmed spray twice a day for cleaning.
