party dress for February

What can I wear to a party in February? I always find between seasons confusing! Sequins feel Christmassy but it also feels too cold for spring stuff. I am a size 10, 5ft 3 & going to two parties, neither very dressy but both full of v fashionable people (in a stylish / edgy / sustainable fashion kind of way). Im an autumn for colours so greens, browns, oranges are best (again not very seasonal!). I have a gold skirt I could wear with things (but no idea what) or a swingy black skirt that could also be paired with something. Or a dress? I tend not to suit jumpsuits but trousers are possible. Any ideas?

Autumn colour velvet. Got a budget?

Look at Anthropologie they have some lovely dresses in their sale section. I have been recommending them on threads similar to yours OP. www.anthropologie.com/en-gb/sale-dresses

Thank you! Is velvet ok past Christmas @clementinejuiceforxmas?
I like some of the Anthropologie dresses but many look very summery & I worry about being cold!
Budget…maybe £150?
Alsp maybe relevant I am 46.

I think I am too short and bulgy for the Wyse dresses @Montague22 although some are pretty

What sort of venue? Will there be dancing? I’d probably go with a short dress of some sort plus black tights and heeled boots.

Yes dancing…but I hate my legs (!) so maybe not too short. I like the idea of boots & a dancing dress @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie
