I am thinking of buying one for my DD birthday present but I am seeing varying reviews on Amazon. I am thinking of getting the full size one. Do they close up tight enough so that things don't fall out when travelling?

I have two, one has a zip and one that has a drawstring and Velcro (I have a lot of makeup!). I'm really pleased with them. I've been away overnight and nothing leaked or fell out so my experience has been positive.

They make getting ready in the morning very easy because I can see everything - no rummaging. They look nice too, good quality.

Thanks, that's reassuring.

I love mine but have the smaller one and I think it's plenty big enough. The full size one must be more like a massive toiletry bag and I can't see any use for it except possibly while travelling. I'd quite like if they did an extra-mini one for when I just want to carry the basics.

Thanks. I will double check the sizes.

To be fair, if your daughter regularly carries massive Revolution-style make up palettes, she probably does need the big one! :) But I usually have things like concealer, lipsticks, bit of blusher etc in mine and leave the big items at home!

I have a standard size one and its too big for carrying round in your bag - as PP said its more washbag size. I just use it at home for keeping all my makeup in and if I am travelling. They definitely close up tight enough for nothing to fall out.

I love mine, it has a zip pocket inside too and a flap that covers the draw string 'hole'. I didn't realise they did two sizes - I might get a little one for my handbag. I have bought cheaper copies from Amazon to keep Velcro rollers in, samples, beauty advent calendar bits and freebies, also a toiletries one when travelling - they are just great for keeping everything in one place and tidy, especially if you open them on the bed or carpet.

She sits in front of her mirror at uni to get ready and scatters her make-up (on the carpet) in front of her. She doesn't seem to carry make-up around with her during the day so I think I will go with the large one. Thanks for all the helpful replies.

She will love it, I've bought loads as gifts and people can't believe how useful they are.
