How likely am I to be ripped off here? Vinted issue

I bought a really nice silk blouse just before Christmas, not cheap and it had marks on it when I opened the parcel

The thing is I picked it up mid afternoon, noticed the marks that evening but didn't raise it as an issue until the following day because I couldn't get a good photo in just lamp light

The seller says it was perfect condition, I didn't check the packaging or film me opening it, never had an issue before with anything I've bought preloved. I've returned it but now she's asked for the order to be reviewed

What's likely to happen? I don't want to end up paying for a blouse I can't wear ☹️

Vinted will refund you

A assume you've reported the issue to them and they've suspended the transaction whilst they investigate?

I reported it, the seller offered a return, I returned it, now she's asked for it to be reviewed - dunno what the likely outcome is going to be

Hi there, I just wondered what happened here with the seller? I have a very similar situation where I bought 3 items and only received 2 and the seller is adamant they sent all 3 - I have pictures of packaging etc. but not sure how I’d prove something isn’t there?! I’ve never had issues so never thought to record myself opening the parcel.

I'm having a similar issue with Vinted but I'm the seller. one item is missing in this case clog shoes . The parcel has been tampered with , ie I can see parcel tape resealing the bag . Vinted is looking into it, but have asked me to provide proof of original packing which I don't have . The option of returning isn't fair on the buyer - not her fault . I'd prefer not a full refund she has one item . I've requested they part refund as maybe my inadequate packing made the shoes make a hole and fall out. I'm waiting for them to get back to me. It maybe easier to offer full refund and get the buyer to PayPal me the rest.
