Can I just share my pleasing clothes shopping story?

So about 6 months ago I was on a dog walk and a woman walked past me wearing a really nice orangey red fleece. You know when you regret not asking someone where a piece of clothing is from (I do this!)? Anyway did a lot of seeking online. No joy. Kept thinking about the fleece shaped hole in my wardrobe. Months later went to Arket in London and saw it. But it was £59 which I thought was a bit toppy. So I've been stalking the Arket website waiting for the sales and it was not included. But then I saw an ad saying new items added to sale with an image of 'my' fleece! Bought it for £35 and it arrived today. Hurrah!!! Isn't it nice when patience is rewarded? Share your pleasing sale or clothes stalking tales!

Love when you get something you really wanted in a sale.

A photo or it didn't happen! Smile

Is it this one?

That's great. I've been after replacing a jumper dress I had about 7 years ago. I look on eBay quite regularly (once every few months) they've had a few in the size too small. Leading up to Christmas I looked quite a lot as its a sequin one so nice for trips to the pub during the festive season. Yesterday I had a quick browse, just in case, and there One was in my size. I got it for £5 plus p&p. I'll save it for next Christmas. Its just something which I wish I still had over the festive season. More for nostalgia than anything else.

Not quite the same for me but I lost a couple of stone last year and the other day was unpacking things I'd packed away in storage because they were formal wear/ too small etc with a view to sending stuff to the chazza.

Found a black sequinned jumper dress from Marks that was always on the small side but I loved so much I couldn't bear to get rid. Tried it on and it finally fitted just right! Wish I'd thought about it before Christmas as it would have been perfect!

Now I just have to keep the weight off till next Christmas...

@LadyOfTheCanyon that's great. We can both rock our sequin jumpers for Christmas 2023. Hopefully mine fits when it arrives.
