What sports brands do you wear?

For working out or casual day to day?

I’ve got one pair of Nike leggings and Nike trainers which I wear for the gym. I don’t usually wear sports gear day to day but I know a lot of younger people do.

My teenage dc wears Nike everything and even rejected the Adidas socks I bought her for Christmas as she doesn’t mix brands 😐

My style is far more casual these days and I was thinking of getting a few new things like a sweatshirt and joggers.

What sports brands do you like?

I wear Nike and Puma, I don't like Adidas for some reason. I also like New Balance for trainers.

wishingitwasfriday · 04/01/2023 18:49

For the gym I generally wear Nike but have bought a pair of adidas trainers in the sale which are really comfy. Around the house I wear M&S good move leggings, which are really comfy and have handy pockets for my phone. I team this with a variety of sports and regular T-shirts and a sweaty Betty zip up top/ hoody. I, unlike your daughter, have no problem mixing brands!

Lululemon mixed with Decathlon for the gym. Trainers are Saucony.
Occasionally will buy something from sweaty betty.

I don't wear gym wear at any other time.

Mrcpy · 04/01/2023 18:53

I like Nike and Sweaty Betty. I also have a few things from M&S which are cheaper but still good quality.

EconomyClassRockstar · 04/01/2023 18:54

Lululemon and Stella McCartney for Adidas. The odd bit of Sweaty Betty but I think that's gone down in quality.

Tinytigertail · 04/01/2023 19:03

I wear Sweaty Betty, Nike and Decathlon for running/gym. Trainers are Brooks or Asics.

schmalex · 04/01/2023 19:05

Sweaty Betty and Nike for the gym. I also have a toasty warm Sweaty Betty coat.
For running shoes, Brooks, Asics or HOKA.

HundredMilesAnHour · 04/01/2023 19:09

I only wear sportswear for exercising in rather than for 'leisure'. I mainly wear a mixture of Nike, Varley and Asics. Occasionally Koral or 66 North or Stella for Adidas. Trainers are Nike other than Asics for running.

Jumbojem · 04/01/2023 19:11

Sweaty Betty for leggings, decathlon and H&M sports wear for workout vests tops. I love a thumb hole and H&M long sleeve exercise tops have them. Surprisingly good quality for the money.
Also some v v old Gap Fit.
Nike or Brooks running shoes. Don't go to the gym, barefoot for home workouts.

ThePoshUns · 04/01/2023 19:12

M&S
Bam
Dare2be

Thiswayorthatway · 04/01/2023 19:12

M&S or Nike day to day, Adidas Stella McCartney or Sweatty Betty if I am treating myself.

RedPandaFluff · 04/01/2023 19:20

Sweaty Betty until a few months ago - I've noticed a real decline in quality, inconsistent sizing across the same product line etc. Customer service is really good though. Thinking I might try some lululemon this year to see how the clothes compare . . .

WhoppingBigBackside · 04/01/2023 19:24

Saucony for running shoes, but also like Asics. For gymwork, old running shoes.
Activewear is ronhill so not really S&B, or Nike. My adidas leggings proved see-through so not those, prefered bog std Primark cheapos.
If I was to buy new stuff, I'd probably look at M&S or Decathlon based on value for money.

DopamineDresser · 04/01/2023 19:42

Sweaty Betty for sports bras & leggings - no other leggings compare to their Power 7/8 leggings for me! Squatproof, lovely to wear, nice material & features, and love the prints.

Reebok Nano trainers for training; tops from anywhere I see something I like! Dare2b for light workout hoodies

MysweetAudrina · 04/01/2023 19:45

Sweaty Betty for yoga and leisure wear. Nike for runners.

NeverGonnaNot · 04/01/2023 19:55

I’ve never worn Sweaty Betty so I’ll take a look online.

… as it is obviously a popular brand.

They can feel expensive but they have regular big sales with solid reductions - I've never paid full price! You also get a % off your first order when you join their mailing list.

The Stamina bra is also excellent
