Boden - so disappointed

Is it just me or is anyone else disappointed with Boden clothing?

I find most of the fabrics poor, meanly cut, the jeans badly cut and the knitted clothing always have little clicks or holes in them. And overpriced too.

It's such a bind to have to send them back. Mabye I'm just unlucky.

There's a whole thread about how badly made and generally disappointing Boden clothes are. I agree with you - I think they're expensive for what they are and won't shop there anymore. If I want cheap and cheerful, I'll shop at Primark!

have sent ons of things back, but have kept some as well.
Am 10 in some trousers but a 12 in others
The stuff I have hung on to has lasted and worn really well
free returns, no quibbles refunds.
Hardly a risk is it.

WinkyWinkola · 04/02/2008 11:43

Well, it's not really about risk, Piffle. It's about being disappointed.

Sorry to not be more entertaining and scouring MN for similar threads before posting.

I do find some of it disappointing and send it back, but some is great so maybe you are unlucky. I love my wideleg jeans and they have lasted loads better than Gap ones (ie not gone through at knee after 3 months...) Also I have some of their knitwear that I like. I do think their t-shirt tops are bobbins though. Crappy, too short and wash badly. Which is odd because their kids' ones last forever.
