Nail polish brands and colours

I have decided to spend a little more time on my nails and have found that the ancient nail polishes I have need replacing. I did a quick search in this topic and found that Essie, Nails Inc and OPI are the most recommended brands.

What colours are out and what colours are "in" these days? My hands are a little old and wrinkly looking Sad

Not a colour as such but when you are in a rush or fancy an "undone " nail dior nail glow is excellent and worth the £.
