How do I curl hair with straighteners?

Is there a very simple technique you could explain so I can get a nice wave through my hair?

I don't particularly want to buy another electronic item so I f I can do it with my current hair straightener that would be great.

Thanks

Put the straighteners at the top of a piece of hair like you were going to straighten normally. But turn them 180 degrees. Then pull them down.

Oh god OP I am on the quest with you. Currently watching a lot of insta videos. I have found ‘Chloe swift stylist’ to be helpful. So far I’ve got the left side down thanks to her. Now working on replicating it on the other side… and the back…

Sorry I don't think that link worked, it's from fopperholic on instagram. If you go to her posts 11 rows down, and it's her post on the far right ❤️

This.

You don't have to do loads of twists and turns, just clamp the hair, flip your straighteners (away from the face works best for me) then run them straight down.

Oh I see what you mean now.

I read this as turning the temperature of the straightener to 180 degrees! Not the hair.

I thought you were explaining how to straighten hair using straighteners.

Sorry, this is why I need a very basic technique!
