Mounir hairdresser in the UK

I've been watching hair "transformations" by someone named Mounir on FB reels, and frankly the guy is outstanding. Particularly interested in his work as I have the same kind of colouring and hair type as most of the women in his reels.

However he appears to work out of Dubai (and maybe Ireland once upon a time?) and I'm East of England.

I've messaged the team on FB several times now to ascertain if he's ever in the UK, but never had a response.

Does anyone know of a very similar hairdresser in the UK? I don't mind travelling, but the closer to East Anglia the better.

I don't know any but if you find one, please let me know! I worked out the other day that I've spent over £1800 on hair appointments over the past 15 months (that's when I started changing my hair colour) and my hair STILL isn't how I want it 🤬

Have a look at Nicky Lazou (think she’s based in Middle East but may do appointments in London) or Catherine Boden (Manchester and London). Both seem to specialise in balayage/colour correction on dark hair

I have no idea what he does with those rainbow toners but jt looks good for the camera!
The only thing is that everyone ends up with mostly blonde straight hair - all natural curls are banished which kind of annoys me. He also has a thing for completely covering one side of the face with deep parts - looks very impractical!

I love watching Mounir. I have DH told that when I win the lottery I'm flying straight out for an appointment with him. I'd say you'd need a lottery win to keep up the maintenance as well. Also has anyone else noticed that all the stylists working with him are male?

Hi @MounirLondon I've had a look at your page and the examples in your gallery aren't necessarily what I would say a mounir end result looks like - mainly because of the very bright colours, which I'm sure are exactly what your clients asked for, but it's hard to gage how you do a more muted look from those pictures.

Do you have a Facebook page I could privately message and where you maybe have before and after photos of the more standard colours that you've done?
