What are the fashion trends for 2023?

I don’t need a lot of new clothes but I am wondering what the new trends are for spring/summer?

I did read an American article that said watch out for ruching, mini skirts and cut-out dresses (none of which would be for me!) but wondering if there is something more accessible and everyday. It also said all black was in and the midi dress with trainers on its way out.

I took 2 black sacks of colourful summer dresses to the charity shop today so I'm following this because I love wearing black 😁

Apparently cobalt blue is going to be next seasons colour. I’m personally not a fan.
From the articles I’ve read, it looks like we can expect lots of chiffon and sequins.

I love cobalt. But I have dark hair, pale skin and bright blue eyes

However whenever I wear it - I feel like Margaret Thatcher. It's such an 70s / 80s Tory colour

Chiffon and sequins? Hmm. Comfy, especially if it's hot....

Just stay away from the power suits and the pussy bow blouse underneath!!
