Lovely, sparkly skirt

I got a lovely, black, sparkly skirt from Santa. I plan to wear it as much as possible. Summer will be easy with sandals or light trainers but what casual winter shoes would you wear with it? I have a pair of quite dainty ankle boots but they have a thin sole so can't do all day, every day in them!

I would wear chunky sole lace up boots and a cashmere jumper. Enjoy your lovely new skirt!

I have a similar skirt and wear it with either Chelsea boots or silver ballet pumps (if I'm inside).

You have reminded me that I do have chunky ankle boots. I will try them next time.

I have the cashmere jumper sorted! I was thinking chunky ankle boots too, but what I can find online, I'm not sure if they are too heavy. What do you think of any of these?

Personally I would go for a slightly less chunky version of the first boot. I like Air and Grace Jessa boots and there are lots of similar boots out there.
