Fabby New Non-Irritating Mascara!

I thought I'd share my new discovery in mascara! I haven't been able to wear mascara for years because even the hypoallergenic stuff makes my eyes itch.

However, I recently picked up a new masacra in the Boots No 7 range called 'Sensitive Eyes' and it actually does what it says on the cover. I can wear it all day without knowing I have it on and I'm so inordinately pleased about it.

is it waterproof?

It's the only mascara I've found that I can use.. to be honest though I find it a bit clumpy after a few weeks of use. It's not waterproof, and can end up smudged if I go out in wind and eyes water.
Am still on the lookout for the perfect mascara!

It doesn't say it's waterproof so I guess not. But I'm just so happy to have found one mascara I can wear!

Will keep a look out for it clumping, HT. Do you think that's because it thickens in the tube?

I think so. Still, it's the only one i can wear without getting really sore, itchy eyes, so I know where you are coming from.

When you say you are sensitive, how sensitive are you?

I haven't been able to wear mascara for years - I've started a new tube and applied immediately before essential interviews and removed afterwards and that has been it.

I would love to be able to wear it as people assume you are making a statement when you don't, sigh. I am a pale redhead so have virtually transparent eyelashes.

I'm allergic to perfume, have sensitive (but not ridiculous) skin, but have problems with my eyes and need allergy eye drops most days.

That's the odd thing, TO, I'm not generally an allergic/sensitive person at all, so why mascara irritates so much, I don't know. It makes my eyes itch and feels as though I have lumps of grit in them.

I had red hair when younger, though have brown eyes so don't have pale eyelashes. I sometimes get my lashes dyed but that probably wouldn't be a good idea for you.

Darn! I was hoping you would say you were really allergic but this was fine wink. My less allergic sister trying dyeing but had a terrible reaction so I've not tried.

I have got used to my paleness but a girl can dream...
