Lisa Eldridge here too.

louderthan · 25/12/2022 23:47

The Ordinary serum foundation. If you're buying online it might take a few goes to match the shade but they're less than a tenner so I didn't mind too much!

Jellycats4life · 26/12/2022 00:30

I use The Ordinary too. Gutted they’re being discontinued due to poor sales.

pompomdaisy · 26/12/2022 03:47

What? The ordinary is going out of business??

namechangedforthis9 · 26/12/2022 03:54

Am I the only one who mixes two? I've always mixed EL double wear and Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser together! It works really well I don't know how or why! Sounds odd though.

Domino45 · 26/12/2022 08:07

The Lisa Eldridge foundation is really nice and natural looking. Only downside is trying to shade match online without buying tester cards.

Girlintheframe · 26/12/2022 08:17

Nars sheer glow, love it so much I'm planning to purchase another bottle

I mix them too - either shades of the same foundation or two different foundations altogether. I have gone back to Double Wear after trying various others. I can't get on with the No 7 Hydraluminous. Other ones I use (mainly to mix with DW) are the Fenty med to full coverage one and. Dior one which again is med to full coverage. Recently bought the small tube of Erborian CC to try.

TomAllenWife · 26/12/2022 08:30

Boots No 7 hydroluminous, I was converted by mn But I do get lots of compliments I love it

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 26/12/2022 08:32

Love Japanese foundations.

Shiseido are the best. Tried Suqqu, but it settles in the lines, went back to Shiseido.

I am still bereft shiseido cancelled the Pureness compact...

I'm still on the hunt for something equal...

@stayathomer I still haven't forgiven Rimmel for reformulating their wake me up foundation, and we are talking at least 10 and probably more like 15 years ago 😂

It cosmetics cc cream for me, for a more affordable option the Revolution dupe (same packaging but gold) is ok! For something lighter wet n wild do an amazing tinted moisturiser

SideshowAuntSallly · 26/12/2022 08:48

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, and Bare Minerals powder Foundation when I've got a bit of a tan or in the summer when I don't want to put too much on my face.

missmoon · 26/12/2022 12:52

I want to try Lisa Eldridge, and don’t mind paying for the tester cards, but they are constantly out of stock! And it’s too expensive to take a guess on.

Gluwhine · 26/12/2022 13:06

Dior Forever Skin Glow 1CR. No more looking like I’m sick, sallow and have a yellow tide line 👍

No, the make up line is being discontinued due to small profit margins and poor sales. They announced a few weeks ago.

janet0001 · 26/12/2022 13:32

By Terry's hyaluronic :)

Tallulasdancingshoes · 26/12/2022 18:09

Bobbi Brown skin foundation stick is my go to. It never lets me down and is a perfect colour match. I occasionally also wear Nars Sheer Glow which I also like, and lasts well but I find the colour match isn’t quite so perfect as Bobbi Brown. I’m Mont Blanc in Nars and cool ivory in Bobbi Brown.

Littleguggi · 26/12/2022 21:20

Expensive but Pat McGrath, although they have lots of sales and brought my last bottle for £25 as opposed to the £60 odd!

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/12/2022 21:29

At the moment NYX Born to Glow or Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, both mixed with a couple of drops of Simple's Water Boost Hydrating Booster which works so well on my dry skin.

CYO lifeproof was my favourite, so gutted they discontinued that.

Vicliz24 · 26/12/2022 21:54

I've used It Cosmetics CC for about five years now . The factor 50 element is a winner for me .

AwNo · 26/12/2022 22:11

You can find this on eBay
Why is it so good??

SandDunesAndSaltyAir · 26/12/2022 23:05

The Ordinary serum foundation is the best I've ever used, and so cheap. I bought several bottles when I found out that they're discontinuing it 😔

I bought Lisa Eldridge just before Christmas and really like it - I did wait until I was in their pop up to be colour matched though as I had no idea from online what shade I would be.
